The oldest steam locomotive on show, ARHS ACT Division's 1210 next to Indian Pacific Cars, This and the following photos were taken Saturday 24 September 2005. 1210 and Indian Pacific Cars 1709, was returned with a 1 month Boiler certifcate, and the loco looks fantastic Rail Motor Society CPH 1 & 7 did good's line tours from the Mortuary Station 3830 heads out from Central with a Hurstville shuttle trip 3830 3112, was the banker, with it taking turn to lead from Hurstville back to Central 3112 Another Hurstville trip with 3801 in lead. 3526 is seen leading it back to Central Station Inside the cab of 3112 44211 and 3112 together, 44211 led 4201 on the Southern Aurora to Central from Thirlmere 1709 simmering away 3642 on display, this loco will be the next NSWRTM steam locomotive to be restored to service. 4201 1210 and 3830 head off for Eveliegh Workshops (3112) was also on the back. Me in the cab of 44211, 442's are my most favourte diesel type of all, and I am sounding the horns And in the cab of 4201, a driver's eye view. And yes sounding 4201's horns. It's night time as 4306 and 4490 look on 1709 simmers at night Now the pics from Sunday 25, traveling on the Aurora back to Central behind the nose of 4201 44211 and 4201 leading Back at Central, good on ya 44211, you did it again. At the Mortuary Station, 3801 whistle's past on the head of a Hurstville shuttle 3526 banking CPH 1 & 7 at Mortuary Station Through the cab of 1709 we see 2705. The Driver's control of 3526 and the loco's raging fire 2705 has a job being the loco to haul the water gins to and from Central, as RTM members give it a bit of a clean up. Just almost like the steam days had never been gone. 3112 A model of 3601, with the original round top boiler style. 3112 and 2705. The two 4-4-0's 1709 & 1210 ready to head to Parramatter 2705 ready to put on a show, Monday Morning 26-8-2005 2705 3642, cold but still an important part of the show, 26-8-2005 1709 and 1210 at Parramatter ready to head back to Central Station And they are on there way back on 26-8-2005 3801 leaves Central On it's way back to Eveliegh Workshops, the event is over.

ARHS ACT Division's 3016, is dismentaled undergoing overhaul. 16-7-2005 Blowing down the boiler, 3526 stands on the turntable at Thirlmere 17-7-2005 Australia's most famous steam locomotive, C38 class 3801 leaves Maitland with a RVRM special, with what look's like the Triple J logo on the head board, on 22-11-2003. The only preserved member of the massive D57 class 4-8-2 locomotives, 5711 stored at NSWRTM and has had some restoration, pictured on 17-7-2005 Baldwin 5910, stored at NSWRTM, awaiting work in the firebox, pictured on 17-7-2005 AD 60 No. 6040, one of the last steam locomotives to see service with NSWGR's, 6040 is seen on display at NSWRTM on 17-7-2005. Here are from left to closest: 5069, 5132 and 5353 The cab of 1923 1904 Dorrigo Steam Railway & Museum, NSWGR steam locomotive collection, these two being 3046 and 3090, this and following photos were shot on Tuesday 13 March 2007. A Northern coal service heads south not far from the defunked Braefield passing loop, in the Black Ridge area on Saturday 3th of March 2008 around the 3:10pm mark. Later in it's travels at Ardglen the coalie is heading up towards the level crossing, three 80 class are banking on the rear 8227 & 8141 are the leading locomotives With the awesome deep Alco grunt the bakers bring up the rear 8003, 8027 & 8045 are the banker locomotives for this day The three 80's haed back to Werris Creek. It was nice to see the oldest member in the class out and about. 48s33 & 4816 on a Container Coal train heading south at Metford on Monday 11 August 2008 The same service is seen at Sandgate about to pass the tail of a Pacific National Coalie. On the same day 11-8-2008. 48129, PL 3 & 48??? Paul at East Greta also with a load of coal from the former Pelton Collery. On 2-7-2005 January 2008 at Gunnedah Rural museum, they have a small interesting collection of steam engine, including a number of portables This is the largest portable engine in the collection, rather a shame it is only on display and not restored to working order.
